Who we are

Parousai is a private-beta service operated by Shashank Shetty, a sole proprietor in Mumbai, India. In this policy, “we” means the operator of Parousai. You can reach us at shashank@parousai.com.

What we store

  • Your account details: your email address and a password (handled by our authentication provider), and the profile details you add, such as a display name and role.
  • The business data you upload or connect: CSV and Excel files, and records pulled from JSON API sources you configure.
  • Credentials you save for a data source, which we store encrypted.
  • The questions you ask and the answers and briefs we generate for you.
  • If you connect Slack: your Slack workspace's bot token and the Slack member IDs we need to send you messages.

How we use it

We use your data to compute figures from your records, to write briefs and answer your questions, and to deliver briefs to you. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who processes it for us

  • Supabase hosts our database and authentication. The data you upload is stored there.
  • Anthropic (the Claude API) processes your business data, including figures computed from your records and related record text, to generate briefs and answers.
  • Slack delivers briefs to you, only if you connect it.
  • Vercel hosts the application.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. We share your data only with the providers above, for the purposes above, or when the law requires it.

Deletion and your requests

You can ask us to delete your account and the data you uploaded, or ask what we hold about you, by writing to shashank@parousai.com. Send it from the email address on your account so we can confirm it is you. We will act on the request and tell you when it is done.
